How well do we know Jesus?

We can say that we know someone.  But do we know about someone or do we know them. There is a difference.

When it comes to knowing Jesus there are many thoughts; He is a religion of rules and regulations, a profit, someone born as a baby to celebrate at Christmas, someone who we think of at Easter together with chocolate bunnies, someone who some think have nothing to do with our day to day living.

He is so much more.

There is no one that will love us more than Jesus. He left His home in Heaven, came to earth as a baby, laid aside His godly power, grew as a man performing healing and miracles. And then a day came when He paid the price for sin. Our sin. By one man, Adam, sin entered the world.  And now all humans were under the curse of sin. The cost of sin is separation from God and  Heaven.

Jesus changed our destiny!

He paid the price for the sin of the world. He gave up His life.  Jesus died a terrible death on the cross and His shed blood cleansed us from our sin.

This is love, the greatest love there is.    

This is Jesus.

Believe today and change your destiny!

Make the best decision of your life today.

Receive His free gift of salvation.  He loves you so much.

How can we trust?

And then one day you read a blog saying, “trust Jesus.” How can you? You may have built a wall of protection around your heart. This wall does keep you from being hurt but also from receiving anything good.

Trust is an issue that many of us deal with. We have trusted and been betrayed. This causes us great emotional pain. We tell ourselves that we will never trust again.

But you can!

No one has done for us what Jesus has. He left Heaven to come to earth as a baby, grew to a man and died on the cross. He did this for us to pay the price for the sin of the world.

Roman’s 5:12

Therefore, just as sin entered the world by one man, and death through sin, in this way death spread to all men, because all sinned.

Jesus cancelled the harm done to humanity by Adam’s fall.

But, it’s not ours until we receive it. This requires trust. Trusting what Jesus did for you and me.

Believe today that Jesus died for you that your sin would be forgiven.

Ask Him to be your Savior and receive eternal life.

Jesus is the way, the truth and the life. Begin your new journey as many others have. Ask Jesus to forgive your sin and be set free from bondage.

You will know the truth and the truth will set you free.

Who is He…..Jesus our Friend.

We have a friend in Jesus.

John 15:14-15

You are my friends if you do what I command you.

I do not call you servants any longer…but I have called you friends.

Friends are a comfort. They have a listening ear and loving heart for you. They give sound advice and only want what’s best for you. You can trust them.

This is who Jesus wants to be for us. He promises to never leave us or forsake us.

You can trust Him to be your Friend, Savior and Lord.

Who is He…… Jesus Christ.

Jesus is called the Christ.

Christ means the anointed one. It is not a last name.

Jesus was called Jesus Christ when He laid aside His mighty power and glory, and came to earth as a baby.

Philippians 2: 6 -7

Who, although He existed in the form and unchanging essence of God. He emptied Himself by assuming the form of a bond-servant, and being made in the likeness of men.

Jesus became completely human but was without sin. He was fully God and fully man.

Jesus is God.

Jesus is the Baby born in Bethlehem. He became human for an appointed period of time. His name is Jesus Christ.

Jesus is the Christ.

God, the Son came to earth to be the Savior of the world.

He can be your Savior. It takes believing that He came to earth to pay the price for your sin.

The Bible tells us ” That all have sinned and fallen short of God’s standard. Sin entered the world by one man, Adam, and death spread to all people, because all sinned.(Romans 5: 12)

Believe today and receive eternal life.

Who is He……… Jesus.

Jesus is God. He is the third person of the Trinity. 

In Genesis 1:1 the word God, in the original language the Bible was written in, is Elohim.

Elohim in Hebrew, means God’s. More than one. So we see God is more than one person. This is why we use the word Trinity.  God is three God’s; … God, the Father; …God , the Son; …God, the Holy Spirit. They are one in unity.

Jesus is God.

He is the Son of God. He is God, the Son. He is the Savior of the world, for those who believe that He died for their sin.

Jesus is not a profit.

Believe and trust Him today.

You will see your life start to change for the better.

Who is He?

I talk about Him all the time. He rescued me from a pit. A pit I was in because of life circumstances and decisions I had made. Many of us are there now or were there.

You can be free of past and present pain in your soul. Your soul is the part of you that thinks, feels and makes decisions.

You might doubt or say impossible. You believe this is not possible for you. But it is. I know because He did it for me. I have been set free from wounds in my soul.

His name is Jesus! He is the Son of God.

It takes a decision to be free. Believe that Jesus died for you, that your sin would be forgiven.

For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him will not perish but have everlasting life.

That whoever is you.

Yes you!!!

Make today the day of decision!

No one knows when our last day will be.

Are you ready for everlasting life in eternity? The choice where you will spend it is yours.

John 3 :16   ” For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whoever believes in Him will not perish but have everlasting life”.

Make that decision today. Right now! Believe in your heart that Jesus died for your sins. Start to learn about Him. Confess your sin and be cleansed and forgiven. Believe today. Start your new journey now.

There’s No Change Until There’s Change!

Have you ever wanted things to change? For a situation or relationship to improve. For our soul to be free of the pain of rejection, fear, loneliness, and grief.

Good News! It absolutely can! I know because God did it for me!

How can we change our thinking and receive this from God?

We have to change our thinking if we want to see change. When our thoughts change, our thinking changes and then our actions change. Positive, constructive thoughts lead to positive actions.

When we line up our thinking with how God thinks we will always see positive results. The Bible is God’s thinking.  Sometimes God’s ways are difficult for us to do but the results will always be successful.

Philippians 4:8 tells us to think this way.

Are your thoughts ……true, noble, just, pure, lovely, of good report, is there any virtue, are they praiseworthy. Think/meditate on these things.

Try it. Form a new habit that will change your life.

John 8: 31-32 ” If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free.”

Believe God today. Ask Jesus to be your Lord and Savior. Your life will change for how you were destined to be.

Jesus is the way!

“Life Everlasting”

Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. When we believe that Jesus died for our sin and ask Him to be our Savior, we receive ‘Eternal Life’.

Jesus tells us……I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die.

Our earthly body is the only part of us that dies. The real us is our soul. The part that feels, thinks, has emotions, and our will.

Our soul goes immediately to Heaven, to live forever. We join our loved ones who are there. We grieve them when they leave us, but we will join them. And nothing will separate us again.♥️

So today will you consider …. Jesus, He is the way.

Your life on earth will change for the better. You only have to believe. Come as you are, He loves you. Lay down your burdens and enter into a new life.
