We are from Canada 🇨🇦. We live in the eastern standard time zone. I am Barbara. I am married to my husband, Stanley, and we have 3 adult children.

We have been receiving many requests to be friends of the ministry and also for prayer needs. We are working on a very long list, so please be patient. We are not ignoring you. You are important to us.

New. We  now have an administrator. She is answering  and receiving  your friend requests.

Many have asked to be our friends, not knowing what we are about . We are only about teaching  Jesus and salvation.  If this is not for you, please unfriend us on Facebook………unless you are interested in Eternal Life through  Jesus  Christ, the Savior  of the world.

You can contact us through messenger or the comment section of my blog on WordPress. We do not use WhatsApp. We also don’t receive calls.

I will be replying to all ministry related guestions, ONLY . I do not give out personal information as this is a ministry. I am not going to be answering personal or non ministry questions.

We are a ministry that teaches Jesus and salvation. This is done through my blog called “bongobarbie “. I am a percussionist. That’s where the name came from.

 We are a non-profit ministry, so we are not able to fund any requests. We receive many requests for financial assistance. We do not receive money for what we do, so we have none to give. We pray and trust God to provide for your needs.

We welcome prayer requests. They are important to us. Your prayers are prayed for daily. My husband, Stanley, heads the prayer ministry.  He is fervent before God with your needs.

I am not doing live online teaching at this time. Many have asked, but I’m sorry, not at this time. Also, I’m not traveling.

We look forward to the future, walking with you on this journey of life. 

“Intimacy With Jesus ” is what I write about. As you get to know Jesus, intimately,  your life will change and also your destiny.  I know because He did it for me! And He will do it for you.

Jesus really knows you!

He knows our thoughts and motives. No one else has this understanding of us.

Psalm 139 tells us that God really

knows us like no one else can.

I have used the word God instead of Jesus because in the original language in the Bible , Elohim is the word for God. This is a plural noun, meaning more than one. What does this mean……God is more than one. God the Father, God the Son (Jesus), and God the Holy Spirit. This is the Trinity, three but one in unity.

So it’s not just Jesus who knows us intimately but the Father and the Holy Spirit.

Psalm 139: 1-24. Lord, you have searched me thoroughly and have known me. You know when I sit down and when I rise up. You understand my thought from afar. You scrutinize my path and my lying down. And You are intimately acquainted with all my ways.

We see clearly from scripture that God really knows us . This can be comforting or threatening to us depending on our relationship with God.

If we know Jesus this news is comforting to us. If we don’t know Jesus, you can.

Believe that you are a sinner and need your sins to be cleansed . CONFESS!

Believe that Jesus’s shed blood has cleansed you and your sins are forgiven. RECEIVE!

Ask Him to be your Savior and Lord. ASK!

Turn from your sinful ways. REPENT!

Begin to learn about God and follow His ways. LEARN!

Your life and destiny will be transformed as you study the Bible. Join a church that teaches Jesus. Fellowship with other Christians.

Today is a good day to make this decision. Join many others on our Freedom Journey. Let me know so we can be praying for you.

Does Jesus know me?

Have you ever wondered,  does Jesus know me; what I’m going through, my hopes, my needs and my dreams.

YES! YES! YES! YES!

Jesus is intimately acquainted with you. There is no place you can go that He doesn’t see you. He formed you in your mother’s womb. His thoughts for you are more than the grains of sand in all the beaches of earth.

He is with you always. He promised us to never leave us or forsake us.

You have a part to play………You have to believe and receive Jesus as your Savior.

I pray if you don’t know about Jesus you will today!

Thank you Jesus!

Good Friday is the day we remember what Jesus did for us. He gave His life to pay for our sin. Sin had entered the world by one man, Adam. Now the world was under the judgment of sin. Jesus’ sacrifice paid the price.

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whoever believes in Him will not perish but have everlasting life. John 3:16.

There is no greater love than this. Jesus made a way for us to have eternal life in Heaven.

Our part is to believe !

Believe today and change your destiny.

How well do we know Jesus?

We can say that we know someone.  But do we know about someone or do we know them. There is a difference.

When it comes to knowing Jesus there are many thoughts; He is a religion of rules and regulations, a profit, someone born as a baby to celebrate at Christmas, someone who we think of at Easter together with chocolate bunnies, someone who some think have nothing to do with our day to day living.

He is so much more.

There is no one that will love us more than Jesus. He left His home in Heaven, came to earth as a baby, laid aside His godly power, grew as a man performing healing and miracles. And then a day came when He paid the price for sin. Our sin. By one man, Adam, sin entered the world.  And now all humans were under the curse of sin. The cost of sin is separation from God and  Heaven.

Jesus changed our destiny!

He paid the price for the sin of the world. He gave up His life.  Jesus died a terrible death on the cross and His shed blood cleansed us from our sin.

This is love, the greatest love there is.    

This is Jesus.

Believe today and change your destiny!

Make the best decision of your life today.

Receive His free gift of salvation.  He loves you so much.

How can we trust?

And then one day you read a blog saying, “trust Jesus.” How can you? You may have built a wall of protection around your heart. This wall does keep you from being hurt but also from receiving anything good.

Trust is an issue that many of us deal with. We have trusted and been betrayed. This causes us great emotional pain. We tell ourselves that we will never trust again.

But you can!

No one has done for us what Jesus has. He left Heaven to come to earth as a baby, grew to a man and died on the cross. He did this for us to pay the price for the sin of the world.

Roman’s 5:12

Therefore, just as sin entered the world by one man, and death through sin, in this way death spread to all men, because all sinned.

Jesus cancelled the harm done to humanity by Adam’s fall.

But, it’s not ours until we receive it. This requires trust. Trusting what Jesus did for you and me.

Believe today that Jesus died for you that your sin would be forgiven.

Ask Him to be your Savior and receive eternal life.

Jesus is the way, the truth and the life. Begin your new journey as many others have. Ask Jesus to forgive your sin and be set free from bondage.

You will know the truth and the truth will set you free.

Who is He…..Jesus our Friend.

We have a friend in Jesus.

John 15:14-15

You are my friends if you do what I command you.

I do not call you servants any longer…but I have called you friends.

Friends are a comfort. They have a listening ear and loving heart for you. They give sound advice and only want what’s best for you. You can trust them.

This is who Jesus wants to be for us. He promises to never leave us or forsake us.

You can trust Him to be your Friend, Savior and Lord.

Do it today!

Who is He…… Jesus Christ.

Jesus is called the Christ.

Christ means the anointed one. It is not a last name.

Jesus was called Jesus Christ when He laid aside His mighty power and glory, and came to earth as a baby.

Philippians 2: 6 -7

Who, although He existed in the form and unchanging essence of God. He emptied Himself by assuming the form of a bond-servant, and being made in the likeness of men.

Jesus became completely human but was without sin. He was fully God and fully man.

Jesus is God.

Jesus is the Baby born in Bethlehem. He became human for an appointed period of time. His name is Jesus Christ.

Jesus is the Christ.

God, the Son came to earth to be the Savior of the world.

He can be your Savior. It takes believing that He came to earth to pay the price for your sin.

The Bible tells us ” That all have sinned and fallen short of God’s standard. Sin entered the world by one man, Adam, and death spread to all people, because all sinned.(Romans 5: 12)

Believe today and receive eternal life.

Who is He……… Jesus.

Jesus is God. He is the third person of the Trinity. 

In Genesis 1:1 the word God, in the original language the Bible was written in, is Elohim.

Elohim in Hebrew, means God’s. More than one. So we see God is more than one person. This is why we use the word Trinity.  God is three God’s; … God, the Father; …God , the Son; …God, the Holy Spirit. They are one in unity.

Jesus is God.

He is the Son of God. He is God, the Son. He is the Savior of the world, for those who believe that He died for their sin.

Jesus is not a profit.

Believe and trust Him today.

You will see your life start to change for the better.
