Emmanuel, GOD with us.

Emmanuel means “God with us.” The Son of GOD, laid aside His divine attributes by becoming human. He emptied Himself of His own will and became entirely receptive to GOD, the Fathers’ divine will.

This is love in the greatest sense. Jesus came to earth, born as a baby, to be our Savior. Have you ever wanted to be loved unconditionally? No matter what you have done or how you have been to others. Well you need to know that Jesus loves you unconditionally. That’s the reason He came as a baby to grow to manhood and be your Savior. He came for you.

Christmas is the time we celebrate the birth of Jesus. May you open your heart and mind to Him. He is not a religion or a lot of rules. Your life will change for the better. Just believe! GOD came to dwell with us, His name is JESUS!

For GOD so loved the world that He gave His only begotten SON that whoever believes in Him will not perish but have everlasting life. That whosoever is YOU! May you make room for Him and start your Freedom Journey as so many others have.

The humanity of Jesus begins with His conception, birth and name.

In the beginning, God the Son was in Heaven with God the Father and God the Holy Spirit. At an appointed time, the angel Gabriel, was sent from GOD. He was to go to a girl in Nazareth, named Mary and tell her that she would conceive through the power of the Holy Spirit. She would give birth to a son and call Him Jesus. This Son would save the people from their sin. He would be their Savior.

The time came for His birth. Joseph and Mary travelled to Bethlehem, their hometown. A census was being taken so they needed to be in their hometown. When they arrived there was no room for them at the Inn, all was full. The Inn keeper had compassion on them, he saw that Mary was ready to deliver her baby. There was room in the stable with the animals so they went there.

Jesus, Son of GOD, was born. God put a bright star in the sky to point the way to where His Son was born. He was born for you and I, to be our Savior. To give us an abundant life, a future that is full of joy, peace and hope. Come and follow Him. Your life will change. I know mine did. He is there for you. Just believe!

Join our Freedom Journey. Be set free from past and present things that weigh you down. I pray you will make room for Him. He is waiting for you to unload any burdens and be filled with joy and peace. He loves you so much, He came to earth for you. There is nothing that you could do that would stop Him being there for you.

According to John 1: 1-3

• In the beginning (before all time) was the Word (Christ), and the Word was GOD Himself.
• He was present originally with GOD.
• All things were made and came into existence through Him; and without Him was not one thing made that has come into being.

We see Jesus is called the Word, and GOD (the Son.) Also that He was present with GOD (the Father.) The Bible states that the Person of Jesus Christ was one of the three divine persons of the Godhead and as GOD He had no beginning, He always existed.

It is this time, before He became the Baby in Bethlehem, that is referred to as the Pre-existence of Jesus. He was GOD, the Son. He was not called Jesus Christ at this time.

We have seen a few more things about Jesus that we may not have known. As we get to know Jesus intimately you will see a change come in your life. It’s a change that happens when we fall in love. The greater our love grows, the greater our freedom from past and present hindrances becomes.

We are truly on a Freedom Journey! I encourage you to come and follow Jesus. The cost is opening your heart and mind. Just believe and you will see amazing things that only GOD can do! Jesus is not a religion. He calls us friends.

On our journey of getting to know Jesus intimately we’re going to start at the beginning.

In Genesis 1:1 In the beginning GOD created the heavens and the earth. In the beginning is the ” dateless past. ” Exactly when this is has not been revealed to us. It is infinity, something without limits. All we know is that a time came when GOD began His creative work.

Next we see that GOD was there creating. To accurately interpret the Bible we have to look at the language that was used. The word GOD in Hebrew is ELOHIM. This translated means GODS. Elohim is a plural noun which shows us that more than one person is indicated by the word GOD. Thus Elohim is not one GOD, but three Persons, one in unity. We have GOD, the Father; GOD the Son; and GOD, the Holy Spirit.

In Genesis 1:26 GOD said, Let Us (Father, Son and Holy Spirit ) make man in Our image, after Our likeness. We see again that the word GOD is Elohim, the Trinity, three Persons, one in unity. I hope you don’t get confused if this is new to you, but it is relevant to our understanding the Person of Jesus. He is GOD, the Son. Jesus was there in the beginning of creation.

As individual Persons each can be called GOD and together they can be spoken of as one GOD because of their perfect unity. They each have different functions but operate in unity.

I pray you get the revelation of how awesome this is. Jesus came to earth as a Baby, but He was there when the creation of the earth was happening. Until next time.

We have a Friend that is always there, listening to us and intimately acquainted with us. Jesus is His name. He is there for each one of us. You may not know Him intimately yet but you will as we journey together. We’re going to look at who He is.

What Does An Intimate Relationship Look Like?

To have an intimate relationship with someone we need to know them in depth, to see how they respond in different situations, their likes and dislikes. Intimacy is a closeness, a sense of belonging together and a trust factor that produces confidence in that person. They understand you and accept you for who you are and you do the same. Intimacy doesn’t happen immediately but takes time spent together.

How encouraging is this.

God knows everything about us. He is everywhere you go. He formed you in your mothers’ womb and He thinks of you more than all the sand on the beaches. Wow, let this sink in. You have a Person that is there for you. He listens and cares. But you may say where was He when bad things happened to me? We will get to that later, on our Freedom Journey.

Have you ever wondered does God know that I exist?

Does He see me as I live my life, the day to day things I experience? The good things and the bad things. Is He interested in me? Does He hear my thoughts and prayers?

The answer is: YES ! YES, I’m going to tell you what the Bible says in Psalm 139.

1. The Lord searches us thoroughly and knows us!
2. He knows when you sit and when you rise. He understands your thoughts.
3. He sifts and searches your path of life, like the winnowing fork that was used to sift the grain of wheat from the chaff, only what will be beneficial for you will remain.
4. He knows when you lie down.
5. He is acquainted with all your ways.
6. He knows what we are going to speak before we ever speak it.
7. He is with you, He goes before you and behind you. His hand is on you.
8. His knowledge of you is more than we can understand.
9. His presence is always with you even if you don’t sense Him.
10. You are never hidden from Him. Night and day are the same to Him.
11. He formed you in your mothers’ womb.
12. He saw you when you were not formed yet in your mothers’ womb.
13. He wrote all your days of life in His book.
14. His thoughts for you are more in number than the sand of the beaches.

How amazing is this. Read it over and let it sink in. This is the Bible, God speaking to you.

God is intimately acquainted with you. He knows and loves you.

Today we’re going to see what is the ” Key ” to our happiness.

Our happiness comes when we know we have someone who believes in us, loves us unconditionally and is there for us. They hear us when we need a listening ear. We all have such a person. You may not know that yet. His name is Jesus.

Jesus is not a religion, He is not alot of rules and regulations. He is the Son of God who died for your sins. The Bible tells us in John 3:16……For God so loved the would that He gave His only Son that whoever believes in Him/Jesus will not perish but have everlasting life. That whoever is you!! The Key is believing and receiving what Jesus did for you. As we go on our Freedom Journey you will see what has been done for you, and who Jesus is. Come…..on this journey, you have nothing to lose and much to gain. I pray for you that you will come. Happiness, joy and peace are waiting for you.
