Part 2

The Pre-Existence of Jesus Christ.

John 1:1-3. “In the beginning (before all time) was the Word ( Christ) , and the Word was God Himself. He was present originally with God. All things were made and came into existence through Him; and without Him was not even one thing made that has come into being.”

The Bible declares that the person we know as Jesus Christ was one of the three divine persons of the deity, and that as God, He had no beginning. It is this time, before He became a man, that is referred to as His pre-existence. He existed as God before He became a man…Jesus Christ the God man.

In the beginning of creation, Jesus was there. His name at that time was the Son of God, not Jesus.

In the beginning God (Elohim) created the heavens and the earth. Elohim is the plural noun for God: God,the Father; God,the Son ; and God,the Holy Spirit. This is the Trinity. Three Gods, but one in unity; each with a different function.

Genesis 1:26. “Then God said, Let Us make man in Our image, after Our likeness.”

Take note of the pronoun ‘Us’. God said let Us and Our. These are plural pronouns. Showing that all Three were there at creation.

Colossians 1:16-17

“For it was in Him that all things were created, in Heaven and on earth, things seen and things unseen, whether thrones, dominions, rulers or authorities; all things were created and exist through Him, and in and for Him. And He Himself existed before all things, and in Him all things consist.”

How awesome ! This is what our precious. Savior did for us.

Our precious Savior, Jesus Christ left Heaven, to become a God Man. He did it to pay the price for our sin. He loves us so much. He paid the price for us so we could be restored to God.
